This course introduces students to the concepts and skills they will need for a successful career in medical office billing and computerized practice management. Students will acquire an in-depth knowledge of the medical billing cycle and the use of health information technology in physicians' practices. The course centers on advanced MediSoft V19 training, where students will practice hands-on how to enter patient information, work with cases, create claims, post insurance payments, create reports, and schedule. Students completing this will receive a course completion certificate for Electronic Health Record Keeping.
