This course is a must for anyone who is planning to start a new business or take on a leadership role in the current business world. It is designed to help introduce students to the fundamental structure of the American economy and the principles, practices, and strategies associated with starting, managing, or simply working for a business. Students will learn the major steps in running a business including financing, marketing, and managing. Students will also learn how to develop an effective business plan and how to manage people, finance, and material to reach an organization's goals. Dream big but obtain the tools you need to fulfill the dream! This course could be the first step to make it happen. The course consists of four modules: principles of business and finance, business law, small business entrepreneurship, and technology and business.
