This course covers basic computer skills, cyberbullying, privacy and safety, virtual collaboration in Google and how to evaluate information found online: Is the site legitimate, or a hoax? This is the perfect class for a beginning computer user or someone looking to sharpen their Internet surfing skills. The class will improve a person's ability to perform tasks effectively in a digital environment

This course is delivered via distance learning over the course of a semester. Specifically, this course teaches students how to:
- Navigate and use a computer/operating system, vocabulary related to computers/technology,
- Use a keyboard
- Use Microsft Office Suite Software and how to use the Internet safely and effectively.
