This certificate is designed for students who intend to complete university general education requirements prior to transfer to a University of California (UC) campus. Completion of the Intersegmental General Education Transfer
Curriculum will permit a student to transfer from a Solano Community College to a UC campus generally without the need, after transfer, to take additional lower-division, general education courses to satisfy campus general education requirements.
A Certificate of Achievement can be obtained by completing a minimum of 37-units from the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) Pattern, CSU Graduation Requirement, and SCC Graduation Requirement. All courses for this certificate must be completed with a minimum grade of C or a P if taken on a Pass/No Pass basis.
